DEEP FLOW:

Weaving together elements of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga in a slow and controlled practice and finishing with an extended restorative cool down. Expect to generate heat and build strength in the first quarter of the class and then enjoy a restorative cool down cool down to relax and restore your entire being. This meditative practice focuses on the passive holding of postures for longer periods of time (3 to 5 minutes). Through deep relaxation, we release deeply held tension in the muscles and connective tissue, encouraging the free flow of energy in the body, this class is perfect for all levels.

YOGA FOR CANCER SURVIVORSHIP:

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, receiving treatment, in remission, or cured, we invite you to join us for a completely accessible, all-levels class. The goal of the class is to reduce and alleviate symptoms caused by cancer treatments while improving immune system function, and overall well being.  Using an evidence informed method, students will be empowered to take agency in their healing journey through basic yoic knowledge and techniques.  This class weaves together adaptable, semi-active, and gentle vinyasa practice that encourages movement coordinated with breath, and is accompanied with well-supported restorative poses, meditation, and breathwork to ensure a cancer survivor achieves the maximum benefits from yoga, including physical, mental, and emotional wellness.   Aside from leaving class feeling rested, refreshed, and empowered, support from an understanding community is invaluable.

BUTI YOGA:

This practice is a high-intensity fusion of yoga, dance, and plyometrics. Classes combine cardio, strength training and flexibility in one seamless format similar to a yoga class utilizing the spiral structure technique® to facilitate the release + toning of the body - physical, emotional and energetic. Through primal movement, dynamic asana and cardio-sprints, students breakdown emotional barriers that hold them back.

RESTORATIVE YOGA:

This quiet, meditative practice uses calming breathing techniques, gentle guided relaxation instructions, and focuses on the passive holding of postures for longer periods of time (3 to 5 minutes). Through deep relaxation, we release deeply held tension in the muscles and connective tissue, encouraging the free flow of energy in the body. Longer holds and focused breathing give the bodymind time to slow down and drop into stillness, cultivating a meditative component of practice.
